Ilario completed his studies at the university of Dortmund with a master degree in computer science in 1995 where he layed the foundation of his automation skills. He has since refined this skill in retail and the automotive industry before continuing his career at DB Systel GmbH in 2007. In 2017, RPA convinced him and he founded the Process Intelligence unit together with other process enthusiasts. In 2018 he added the topic of process mining to his portfolio and since then has been advising various business unit at Deutsche Bahn in data-driven process optimization. His motto is: An automated bad process is still a bad process.
