Anil Bhavnani is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 25 Years of Industry Experience in Financial Services, Corporate Finance and International Accounting. He is also a certified Quality Master Black Belt in Six Sigma from Centre for Learning and Organizational Excellence (CLOE - USA). Anil is currently Director BPO Operations and Digital Transformation. He is the India Site Leader for Pfizer- GFS and manages the BPO relationship with Genpact. In this role he is responsible for overseeing the Finance & Accounting operations outsourced to Vendor Partner “Genpact” and ensuring a successful transition as is required for effective and efficient processing of Pfizer’s financial transactions around the world. He is an integral part of the Global Financial Solutions Extended Leadership Team serving as liaison with regional Shared Services Centres, external service providers and business unit clients. Anil is also engaged in driving the GFS Digital Strategy for Robotics & process automation (RPA) and is a part of the “Make it Possible” Team to drive the Pfizer Strategy of being a Best in Class Service Provider, Trusted and Integral Business partner and Great Place to work.
Anil started his Career with Blue Star in 1988 post qualifying CA and worked with GE from 1992 to 2001. He worked with GE Plastics till 1997 and then moved to GE Capital International Services (GECIS), now Genpact, to start the BPO Operations of GE in India. Anil has also worked with HCL BPO, Convergys and Xansa (Steria) UK. Anil has been engaged with the Shared Services and Outsourcing Industry for 20+ years. He is a recipient of “Best Shared Services Leader” Award at the 2014 Shared Services Outsourcing Week in India and “People’s Choice Contribution to the Industry Award”2013 at Shared Services Outsourcing Week in Asia.
