Most Machine Tools are designed for a wide range of applications. Accordingly, the auxiliary systems for example are configured for different types of processes. This configuration is not always the demand oriented solution for the manufacturer. During the manufacturing process, production systems generate data that provide information about the condition of the machine tool, the produced component and the cycle time, among other things. Based on this information, the GreenMachine algorithm is able to monitor the production goals and optimize control variables such as pump speed, feeds or pressure with regard to energy efficiency. The data is evaluated cycle based to ensure that the KPIs are not violated. This results in a continuous learning and improvement process that continuously optimizes the production plant.
